I’m Sam, I’m a software engineer with just shy of two decades of experience. Most recently that’s been with Python and Django, but I’ve done PHP, Java, JavaScript, etc, as well as Python sans Django (flask and custom) and enough DevOps work (Ansible, mainly) to deploy the things I’ve built.
I’m looking for just about anything; if you’re at a coop and you’re considering turning down work due to not having enough developers, bring me in on a short term contract. Eventually I’d like to become a member of a coop, especially one deeply entrenched in the coop ecosystem so I can help make it stronger.

So, kind of an “all-rounder” I guess. I will do the office bits no-one else wants to do! Being a musician in the Age of Spotify has given me a heart of pure steel, lol.
I’m a software contractor based in London with about 12 years of experience.
I’m fairly tech agnostic but I’ve done a lot of work in Node/React, Python and Clojure specifically.
Before I moved to freelance/contracting I worked primarily in a mix education startups and software consultancies. Some notable clients I worked with back then include Heineken, Tommy Hilfiger, Adidas and Contiki.
Since moving to London in 2019 most of my work has been finance/fintech related.
I’m new to the coop scene and still finding my way around, but I hope to get move involved over time.
