Case studies of collaboration, for CoTech website

Hi everyone

Lucinda here from media co-op.
At the CoTech gathering in London November 29/30 2018, we decided to make a new page on the website called 'How We Work’

Here’s the first content, drafted by the Marketing group

Please add more case studies - your stories of how you’re collaborating with other CoTech member co-ops.

You can use the short case-studies below as a template

The aim of this is to inspire one another. And, when we pitch to clients, to bring CoTech to life

(PS Thanks to Cat of Dot Project for sharing the source material for this text - the deck of the proposal from some CeTech members to the Coop Group https://software.coops.tech/ )

Draft content for new page on the website called 'How We Work’

INTRO TEXT

How We Work

CoTech is a network of like-minded co-operatives providing technological and digital services to all sorts of clients.

We collaborate on projects because we believe working together gets better results.

Co-operation and communication are in our nature. We’retransparent, open and honest about contracts, cost and risk-management.

Because all CoTech companies are owned by the people who do the work, we’re fully committed to making each project a success.

CASE STUDY 1

NOW Pensions [logo]

“CoTech’s value lies in their intelligence, experience and modern agile approach to development. They seamlessly upscaled teams and rotated resources, so that we were always appropriately staffed. Their technical skill was unparalleled . They’re also very nice people!” Peter Thompson, Director of IT at NOW Pensions

Build of the UK’s first auto-enrolment pension sign-up system. Clear, intuitive design and usability. A highly secure web platform for more than a million users.

A collaboration by Outlandish and Co-operative Web

CASE STUDY 2

UNICEF/WHO [logos]

Redesign, reimagine and rebrand of website to report country, regional and global progress on drinking water and hygiene. With interactive data, custom graphs and maps

Resulted in a large increase in traffic and backlinks.

A collaboration by Agile and Outlandish

Nice one @Lucinda! Will be working towards getting this on the site soonish.

thanks Luke, that’s great

Hi again Luke and everyone

As promised, here’s V2 content for the soon-to-be-created How We Work page on the website.

(I tried to attach the text as document and upload the logos, but I see new members on Discourse aren’t allowed to upload stuff…)

I’ve added nine micro ‘case studies’. Thanks to everyone in the marketing group for gathering examples of collaboration between CoTech members.
(Specially @CatAinsworth for sharing her work on the Co-op Group pitch, and @toml for calling the 1-hr session on collaboration)

Please correct anything we got wrong. And if anyone can add quotes from happy clients, that would help a lot.

cheers, Lucinda from media co-op
