Just my comment on the ransomware virus plaguing the NHS, and across the world.
It seems to me that the government, having cut NHS funding to a shoestring, blames it for still running Windows XP in places.

Microsoft blames the NSA for holding back news of vulnerabilities. “An equivalent scenario with conventional weapons would be the U.S. military having some of its Tomahawk missiles stolen,” - Yeah, right, they’d tell us … NOT.
The BBC typically said almost nothing useful.
I came into work expecting everyone to be talking about it - but it only affects Microsoft, not Linux. That’s OK then, for us … I backed up my documents anyway, just in case.
