I’m posting here on behalf of Village One, even though we’re not a CoTech member (yet) … I hope that’s okay.
We are a small design + tech cooperative headquartered in Germany, but with one UK-based member. Just six team members in total, three designers, three developers. All-remote, four-day work week (32h/week), worker-owned, equal salary, lots of flexibility, purposeful projects (see our wish/blocklist and our projects grid). We’ve been around since 2022 and also attended the last workers.coop weekend in Bakewell.
Unfortunately one person is leaving us, so we’re looking to hire a web developer with Craft CMS experience: All of the details can be found here (including salary info).
The new person would then become a full cooperative member after six months, gaining equal decision-making power and formal ownership of the business.
Even though we’re incorporated in Germany, we can employ people internationally through an EOR (employer of record) service, such as Deel. So this is about full employment, not freelancing for us. Team language is English, no need to speak German.
We realize that the focus on Craft CMS creates a pretty narrow profile, but we just have a lot of work in that ecosystem and need somebody who hits the ground running.
