UNESCO EdTech Hackathon!

Hola all,
I hope that this call from our friends at UNESCO IIEP in Paris might be interesting and useful to some folk here or to your networks, please feel free to disseminate widely

Hacking EDplanning, the hackathon dedicated to finding solutions for educational planning and management.

The 2022 edition will take place from 6-8 May 2022, bringing together educational experts, web developers, and concerned citizens during a 48-hour virtual working session. This year we have six new challenges, with climate change and efficient use of data topping the agenda. You can learn about all the challenges here.

As this is a global event which will take place in English, Spanish, and French, we are hoping to rely on the expertise of organizations, networks and agencies situated around the world to help us spread the word within their closest communities. This is why we would greatly value your support in helping us amplifying the message between your contacts.

There are three ways to get involved in the Hacking EDplanning:

  1. Get the word out: Helping us disseminate the event by sharing it in your dedicated channels and communities. We have a dissemination toolbox available here

  2. Join the closing event: Educationalists (planners, managers, researchers, partners) can tune in to the closing ceremony of the hackathon to see all the projects developed. Registration opens on April 11

  3. Develop a solution during the hackathon: Tech experts and developers can join a challenge to contribute with their skills

If you would like to suggest any institutions that we should reach out to (besides the ones that you already kindly suggested), don’t hesitate to share their names and we will get in touch. Or, if you would like to get in contact with them yourself, you could copy and adapt this e-mail template to easily provide them with all the relevant information.

Thank you for your support on this!
