Hi, folks, does anyone know of any tech buyers/users cooperative? We are working on a co-op to make open source software easy and economical for anyone in our community to access, own, and use. Basically, it’s cooperative managed service provider. Our goals are to break free of Big Tech and build our local tech ecosystem. I have been looking for similar co-ops, particularly here in the US, but have not found any anywhere. Am I missing something? Any connections or thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

It would be worth getting in touch with the members of Autonomic:
They’re members here. 
One of their projects is the Co-op Cloud project:
They mostly use srvers based within the EU, so you would be covered under the GDPR regulations.
Give them a shout.
There is also this list which shows co-ops based in North America. Most of them are active and are in the same domain you’re targeting.
