The economy isn’t working for everyone and needs to change. Our society is being decimated by government cuts, corporate greed, and the exploitation of workers and consumers alike. Capital is flowing out of our communities and into the hands of callous and greedy corporations.
But some people are fighting back! People are getting together and working in a fairer and more community minded way. This short film follows Jeremy Corbyn as he explores how Islington and its fantastic residents show us their alternative: Cooperatives!
SPACE4 is a worker cooperative and has been a big part of this movement. We’re proud to be represented in the film and excited to be able to share with you. The screening will also be followed by a Q&A with the makers.
