At the last Cotech Gathering there was some interest in having a shared Cotech chat channel, recognising that most members are using an internal chat for their coop and that with the tool I support, spacetube, there could be on one channel that can be shared amongst coops.
I am excited to say that the first two platforms are supported: Matrix (Element etc) and Slack. The next one is likely to be NextCloud Talk and maybe Discord. This can change based on what people request.
If you’d like your coop to be part of the chat channel, please reply here (including the chat platform your coop uses) or send me a pm. The instructions aren’t complicated but I’d like to pair when people are installing just to get any feedback about how they think it could be better and answer any questions etc.
