We are about to put out an advert for a role managing the development of a suite of open-source digital tools for the community energy sector:
· CoShares/CiviShares: a fundraising and membership platform with registry services (used for managing community share offers).
· Elysia: a solar billing operations platform (solar PV generation/export monitoring, billing, reporting).
· Education & engagement dashboards: tools to support schools, co-ops, and communities in learning about energy use, renewable generation, and the wider transition to net zero.
This is part of a collaboration between Repowering London (RL) and Sharenergy (SE), two of the UK’s most experienced CE support organisations.
We have self-funded early prototypes, now at minimum viable product (MVP) stage. The project will advance them to minimum lovable product (MLP): robust, user-friendly, and resilient systems no longer reliant on frequent technical input.
