Give Your Best (GYB), looking for a small team to work with their existing volunteer team.
Give Your Best are a UK based Non-profit who connect women refugees with clothing.
They have almost 9000 shopped items, and connect roughly around 600 women with these items. They currently use Instagram and Email to shop items, and feed that into their website. Looking to scale this up, however not possible with their existing tech stack.
They’ve already started development with the volunteers, but don’t have the time to do this full time.
Looking to start full time development in the New Year (End of Jan)
Position Open: 1 Developer
Tech stack: React, Express, MongoDB (with the possibility of changing to PostGres)
Google Forms, Google Spreadsheet, Email, Instagram,
Responsibilities:
Working with existing volunteer team to develop the MVP
Attend weekly stand ups with GYB
Work alongside our Designer
Project will be with us on a freelance basis. £300/day (37.50 an hour, divided by 8 working hours) minus a 5% commission fee for Code-Operative
