I’m working on a project focussed around leveraging community shares as a finance mechanism to support low carbon heating initiatives in rural communities using cooperative models. We have much of the core tech infrastructure in place (or will be by autumn 2023) utilising robust open source tools, and we need to create a compelling front end user experience (probably using React) that will integrate with the APIs. To that end we’re on the lookout for an experienced developer (or perhaps a small team) ideally with an active interest in what we’re working on, to build the front end as part of a multi-disciplinary team that is working on the project as a whole. Assuming the next couple of months go according to plan we’ll be looking to get started later in 2023, and we’d anticipate perhaps 9 -18 months of work-ish, perhaps more if things go well and we can scale up.
