We’re currently looking for an iOS/Swift developer to assist with work on an existing open-source messaging app codebase. This is a flexible role that we’re looking to fill with a remote freelancer/agency.
Snikket is a social enterprise (UK CIC) building an open-source decentralized private messaging system aimed at small social groups (families, clubs, organizations) as an alternative to existing proprietary solutions such as WhatsApp and Telegram.
We’ve got a solid foundation with the server component and Android app. However we’re behind in the iOS department. We have an app in beta that is almost there, but there is a range of work that needs doing before it is of comparable quality and usability to our Android app.
