I’ve heard about it in the news, that the French government is using its own suite of self hosted tools, starting from video conferencing.
This looks like they’ve packaged it up for other organisations which sounds like a good idea. €150/month is a lot more than we’re currently paying for self-hosted tools but we are our own tech support so maybe that is a realistic kind of price.
Nice to see the chat is based on Matrix. The wave of the future keeps rolling
I think so if it is the same folks behind Suite Numerique. Maybe they have separated entities for easier administration? ![]()

Autonomic has been experimenting with hosting the LaSuite apps recently.

We did launch a little splash page: https://docs.coop/
We can host Docs for £30 per month plus setup and support (it also comes with SSO).
We’re hosting instances for a few folks and getting paid to do some R&D. The software is very good but it’s early days and is very bare bones. Their LaSuite production instance has over 50,000 users though (funded by the French Government).
I’ve also met with the LaSuite folks in Barcelona at the Decidim and Mozilla festivals. Great people. I believe LasSuite.coop are just another co-op similar to us offering managed installs.
Their vision totally lines up with Cory’s masterpiece talk from Chaos Congress:
