Hello all,
My name is David Solomon. I’m currently pursuing an MA in Applied AI and systems design, with a focus on cooperative infrastructure and digital sovereignty.
My background is interdisciplinary — history, governance, and more recently technical systems thinking — and I’ve been studying the platform cooperativism movement for several years. I’m particularly interested in how we reduce duplicated engineering effort across co-ops while preserving full local governance autonomy.
I’m not approaching this as a startup pitch, but as an architectural question: whether shared, federated infrastructure layers could support locally governed marketplaces and digital services without introducing extractive control.
I’ve recently been in conversation with Outlandish, who encouraged me to bring the discussion to the broader CoTech network. I’m here primarily to listen, learn, and understand what work is already underway before suggesting anything new.
