I’m looking for an intranet type thing. I’m interested in HumHub – Open Source Intranet & Community Software it seems fairly active and was wondering if anyone had any experience of using or hosting it?
It seems capable, even if visually it’s a bit dated. Do you hate it? Love it?

Humhub looks good, and is open source 
at GreenNet we use Nextcloud and Mattermost. NextCloud has chat, but Mattermost works great for us, & we use Jitsi for video chat, all self-hosted. Other cotechers use NextCloud too,
