Givers Gain Structured Networking for Small Business, Coops + Freelancers
3rd Tuesday of the month 8:00-9:30 | 17 Sep, 15 Oct, 19 Nov | Register
Have you ever been introduced to someone who completely changed the trajectory of your business? Perhaps they were the key to securing a new contract or owned the ideal location for your business. This structured networking session is designed to make these transformative connections through ethical word-of-mouth referrals.
Why Attend: The event is not just another network meeting, it’s a facilitated experience aimed at maximising the potential for productive business introductions. Using a tried & tested method, we will help you connect with individuals who can propel your business forward.
Event Highlights:
- The pitch: prepare for the session by thinking about the profile of a person who could give you the new business you need - next month, next year, or game-changing.
- Referrals round: think about everyone in your own network of suppliers, customers or friends who buys goods and services
- Communal Breakfast: Exchange contacts, discuss collaborations, change lives over a croissant & a coffee.
Success Stories:
- Veggies found a coop willing to give them a £5,000 bridging loan.
- Caleb was introduced to Hi Hoe, a proto-cooperative looking for support in developing their business plan.
- Fairbnb found an accommodation host for their founder, when they were visiting London for a conference.
- Calverts received a £40,000 no-strings grant to buy new machinery.
- Centre Point got an introduction that led to them becoming the UK’s leading provider of accounting software to the charity sector.
Every Givers Gain conversation has the potential to change the course of your working life. Bring your goals, your requests, your business card and your openness to making introductions.
