Echo hiring UX and UI designer

Hello

We’re excited to be growing our team! We are hiring a UX / UI Designer for an (approximately) 6-week design sprint to help us bring our new, improved Echo digital platform to life.

Over the past couple of years, we’ve been gathering your feedback and ideas to explore how we can improve the user experience of the Echo platform, and have a bigger positive impact as a community.

Now, as part of our recent merge with Civic, we are super excited to have started work on an enhanced digital platform for Echo.

We are working with the Civic Product Team to build a ‘2.0’ Echo platform that will…

Make it simpler and smoother to trade on Echo – building your on feedback and suggestions
Increase Echo’s social impact – by powering more Echo activity, from workshops and events to initiatives like the Community Chest and Echo++ business support
Launch Echo communities in new places – responding to requests from people across the UK and beyond to start Echo communities where they are
As part of this work, we are excited to be growing our team, and hiring a UX/UI Designer.

It’s a privilege to be able to grow our team in these uncertain times, and we wanted to share this opportunity with the Echo community.

Are you our new UX / UI Designer? (Or do you know someone who is?)

We are looking for an experienced UX and UI designer to work with our product team on building this new platform. This will initially be an (approximately) 6-week sprint, full time, with scope for future work on Echo and across Civic’s projects.

We’re looking for someone with relevant experience across UX (user experience) and UI (user interface) who is as passionate about the Echo concept as we are, who’s up for the challenge and ready to bring new and creative solutions to the table.
