Code for GovTech (C4GT) looking for collaborators

Hi all

I received a mail from these people who knew who I was roughly and had got my email through Open Credit Network.

They seem genuine and doing good stuff. They are looking for collaborators so I asked them to write something - below- and said I’d circulate round CoTech

So here you go - please do contact them if of interest

Shaun

I’m Parth and I manage the Code for GovTech (C4GT) initiative. I am reaching out to explore potential collaboration opportunities with - Code for GovTech (C4GT) which is implemented by Samagra, a mission-driven governance consulting firm based in New Delhi, India, in partnership with the global Digital Public Goods Alliance, GitHub, Omidyar Network India and Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

C4GT is an enabler of the development and adoption of open-source products (DPGs and beyond), driving population-scale social impact and creating pathways for young talent to contribute to these products through an active community.

Each year, we conduct the Dedicated Mentoring Program where select contributors collaborate on open-source tech for good projects and get 1:1 mentorship from the organizations. In DMP 2024, 42 organizations, including UNICEF, Mifos, Mojaloop, Beckn(FIDE), MeitY, and National Health Authority (NHA) participated with 103 impactful projects across 70 products.

Here is a detailed report of the program and the showcase video for your reference.

As we expand our community, we’d love to connect with members of CoTech to explore potential collaborations. If you are interested, please do reach out to us directly at parths@samagragovernance.in |+91 8808637180 or visit the C4GT Website to learn more.
