CiviCRM Support

At the Co Tech event last week, I suggested setting up a coopertive CiviCRM support group. There seemed to be quite a few people using CiviCRM and would appreciate some where to go to to get help/support. I thought it might be nice to see if we are able to support one another in some way. As a first step I have set up a Google Group (coop-civicrm@googlegroups.com), so please feel free to join that. It might be a good idea to have somwhere we can discuss online such as a Mattermost channel or even a dedicated forum here?? Very much open to any suggestions comments etc etc.

Happy to be involved. Any reason we can’t use this discourse forum? (I’d prefer to avoid Google products).

That’s great! Yes, absolutely, let’s use this forum. We certainly don’t need to use Google. Maybe we can set up a CiviCRM category here?

We (@NatashaN and I) recently deleted a lot of categories and changed them to tags, I think this is a case where using a civicrm tag would make sense, people can change their notification level for tagged threads, click the bell icon.
