Hi co-operators
I’ve almost given up trying to get my usual work (PHP, Drupal, CiviCRM etc). But there seems to be a lot of work right now in AI training, data annotation, and preparing data to be fed into AI tools - cleaning it up, structuring it and so on.
So I thought I’d offer my help in those areas.
I’ve realised that this, especially the last part, is something I have a ton of experience with. I’ve worked in the case management/CRM space for years and it’s all about taking messy data and putting it in a form that can be used for reporting etc. I’ve done countless data migrations, changing data formats, writing scripts to transform data, taking data from a free text field and trying to impose some structure on it, etc.
As for AI training, I have a PhD in Philosophy with a focus on Logic so I might be of use training AIs in regard to logical reasoning. Data annotation on the other hand doesn’t take much skill but if you need someone to do this I’m happy to, for rates appropriate to the skill, as I am not exactly swamped with freelance work right now.
I did get some work with Handshake AI, some training work which looks quite intellectual and fun, but because I’m a dual US citizen and they are US I’m now snarled up in paperwork and won’t start for weeks if at all.
Anyway, just thought I’d put that out there! Not sure if any co-ops are in the AI space but you never know. I thought it was all just big tech but then I met these guys SciFY – Science For You , they are in Greece but they are a co-op working on AI !
