Accessibility drop-in & skill sharing

Hello folks,

I’m proposing to run a regular, informal, online accessibility drop-in and skills sharing session. Who’s interested?

For context: I’m a (certified) web accessibility specialist, and a frontend developer. My experience is mainly in the web, and I also have dabbled in PDF / docs accessibility. I’m really interested in learning about other areas of digital accessibility too.

My long term goal is to make it really easy for people in co-tech to have access to a wide pool of accessibility expertise.

It will probably be on the first Thursday of the month at 9.15am.

Get in touch if you want an invite or if you would come but that time doesn’t work for you.

Great initiative! Thanks for organising @maria. If a bit of money would help make this, or similar ideas, easier in some way remember we have the fund. I can help you navigate that.

A friendly reminder.

The next meeting will be on the 1st June. The time is the same, we begin at 08:15 UTC and meet for 45-60 minutes. If you don’t have a meeting in your calendar, please contact @Maria.

I am very interested in this as I’m a disability rights activist. I’d much appreciate an invite, and thanks so much for doing this.
