I live in Newham, London. Semi-retired after 40 years, some European Commission/Parliament and BBC, for example. I’m interested in ‘small’, easy to implement tools, especially Raspberry Pi based. I did a great deal of work on ‘search’ whilst working in Europe.

I’m one of the founders of Newham Voices but have recently stepped away from it.

For current projects, the current ones are community currency, a little recycling game and a simple, informal, non-app tool for showing items on maps

Most of my projects are multlingual enabled/structured, either Perl or Python. Sooner or later, I’ll learn one of the tech-bro languages too.

I’m interested in both voluntary work for small organisations and paid work.
