Removing past members from the CoTech website

Yesterday myself and @NatashaSPACE4 updated the CoTech website to update the list of members based on the fact that since the start of 2025 CoTech has become a part of workers.coop, we removed these co-ops as they are not workers.coop members:

  • Alpha Communication
  • Blake House Filmmakers Co-op
  • Chapel Street Studio
  • Dandelion Collective
  • DCDC
  • Dev the Developers Society
  • Digital Liberties
  • Founders and Coders
  • Small Axe
  • Tableflip
  • United Diversity

We added these co-ops are they were missing from the site:

  • Asterisk Labs
  • Solidarity Economy Association
  • Principle Six

We haven’t removed these 6 co-ops as we are expecting them to join workers.coop:

  • Aptivate
  • CBN
  • Co-operative Web
  • Open-ecommerce
  • mc3
  • Paper Rhino

However if they haven’t paid their membership in the next month or so we will also remove them.

The changes we made can be see in the website git history and in the members wiki page history.

Thanks @chris - CBN has applied to join and is just waiting for the application to be approved.

That’s great, thanks @shaun  It would also be great if you can come to the WCW?

Ahead of Coops Congress, we’ve updated these pending coops on the Co-Tech website now. Aptivate, CBN and Paper Rhino have been sent a reminder email but removed from the website for the time being.

The removal of CBN has been reverted as @shaun is sorting out their membership today.

@NatashaSPACE4 just to say clearly something wrong here. I can absolutely confirm that no reminder has been received at CBN. Indeed (as per email exchange) we haven’t received an invoice to remind us about.

Is that a Xero thing as @graham suggests? Or is there a problem with the email address? Presumably not since, once @graham approved the invoice we received it straight away.

Sorry I meant more that Chris was following up with you all but apologies for all the confusion. You’re back on the site no problem.

Sorry for getting back to this so late, but Very Evil Demons has been a member of both CoTech & workers.coop for about a year now! We’d like to be included on the website as well. Please let me know the best way for us to keep our information up to date, since we seem to have slipped through the cracks last year.

Argh, sorry @emmyved - trying to keep an up-to-date list of all members seems to be an ongoing challenge for us. I’ll add a bit of info about you and then post back here with details of how you can make any changes.

I’ve added you to the CoTech website:

If you’d like to make any changes you can find out more about how to do that in the repo:

I can’t quite remember but you may need to speak to @chris to get access to that git repo. It’s a fairly generic jekyll based static-site generator. If you have any questions please ask, and one of us can either make the changes for you or help you to do it.

If you don’t want to join Webarchitects to get access to git.coop you can open pull requests against the GitHub mirror and then we can merge the diff.

Thank you both! I’ve discussed with the members what information we want to add, so I’ll make a PR for the changes soon.
