# CiviCRM for Case Management: A Deep Dive into Nook

[CiviCRM](https://civicrm.com/) is a powerful open-source tool used by nonprofits and advocacy groups worldwide, but how well does it work for case management?
At Outlandish, we’ve been developing [Nook](https://nookcrm.com/), an open-source CiviCRM-based case management system, with funding from the Energy Saving Trust. Co-designed with community energy advisors ([read more](https://nookcrm.notion.site/)), Nook helps teams track cases, manage tasks, and report impact.
Through designing Nook, we believe CiviCRM’s potential as a case management system extends far beyond energy advice - it could be valuable for housing support, legal aid, social care, and more. We want to discuss it with you.
**Join us for an interactive session where we’ll:**
🔹 Demo Nook in action, showcasing how it supports frontline advisors in managing complex casework.
🔹 Hear from one of the energy advice organisations who have been piloting Nook for the past couple of months.
🔹 Explore the broader potential of CiviCRM for case management, discussing how open-source solutions can be adapted for different sectors.
### Who’s this event for?
- **Energy advice organisations** interested in how CiviCRM can support case management and service delivery.
- **Small organisations managing cases** (e.g. charities, advice services, membership groups) looking for a flexible tech solution.
- **Current CiviCRM users** who want to expand its functionality or troubleshoot challenges.
- **Non-profits and social enterprises** looking for open-source CRM solutions that align with their values.
- **Developers, tech agencies, and digital teams** interested in customising or contributing to CiviCRM.

It is a online event so assuming there are no time zone problems you should be able to attend?
